Restoration projects we would like to complete to improve fish habitat and passage for steelhead on the Carmel River.

Future Projects

Completed and ongoing conservation projects performed by the CRSA.

Rescue stranded fish from where the river dries up.

A small fork in the lagoon which led to an outlet pipe from a well to help improve water quality in the lagoon.

Stocking program to help keep the steelhead population alive during a major drought.

An improved fish trap to help adult steelhead navigate LPD to reach more spawning grounds.

Large wood structures were installed in the lagoon to provide better habitat.
